SurvAIQ ("we", "us") provides property inspection software for professional surveyors. This notice explains how we handle personal data collected through this website, in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

The short version: this website sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising trackers, and has no forms. The only personal data we receive through it is what you choose to send us by email — and the minimal technical logs any web host keeps to serve pages securely.

What we collect and why

1. Emails you send us

If you email us (for example to book a demo), we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write. We use this to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to arrange and follow up a demonstration. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, and taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract. We keep enquiry emails for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any ongoing business relationship, after which they are deleted.

2. Hosting logs

This website is served by our hosting provider, Vercel Inc., which processes limited technical data (such as your IP address and browser type) in short-lived server logs for the purposes of delivering the site and protecting it against abuse. This processing is necessary for our legitimate interest in operating a secure website. Where the hosting provider processes data outside the UK, it does so under appropriate safeguards (including the UK International Data Transfer Addendum / EU Standard Contractual Clauses).

Cookies and tracking

This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising or social-media trackers. Because of this, no cookie consent banner is required or shown.

Who we share data with

We do not sell or share personal data collected through this website with anyone, other than the service providers who host our website and email (acting on our instructions as processors), or where we are required to by law.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to request access to your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to our processing of it, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@survaiq.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), though we would welcome the chance to address any concern first.

The SurvAIQ platform

This notice covers this marketing website only. The SurvAIQ inspection platform is provided to professional customers under a service agreement and a separate data processing agreement, which set out in detail how inspection data is protected. Customers and prospective customers can request these documents at hello@survaiq.co.uk.
